From Concept to Completion: The Aura Production Journey

At Aura, every beautiful piece of furniture or interior installation starts long before the first cut of wood is made. It begins with a conversation, an idea, a vision, a mood board – and from there, we build not just furniture, but trust, collaboration, and lasting quality.

Here’s a closer look at how our production line works, from first meeting to final installation:

Step 1: The Client Consultation

Every project starts with a sit-down with the client. This is where we get to understand the vision, what they love, how they live, and what they want the final space to feel like. Mood boards, reference images, Pinterest saves – we encourage it all. The more we understand the client’s style, the better we can tailor the final product.

Measurements are then taken on site and brought back to our office, where the real planning begins.

Step 2: The Creative Team Session

Once we have the client’s brief and measurements in hand, our in-house team gathers to map out the project. This involves drawing up a basic floor plan to understand spatial flow, functionality, and practical considerations.

From there, we develop concept sketches and 3D drawings to bring the client’s vision to life visually. This step often involves a back-and-forth process, refining layouts, finishes, and details until the client is fully satisfied. Sometimes it takes time and several revisions, but we believe that getting it right on paper is essential before building anything in the workshop.

Step 3: Quoting, Approval & Scheduling

Once the concept is locked in, we generate a detailed quote and project timeline. After the client gives us the green light and pays the deposit, the job is officially booked into our production schedule.

Depending on the size and complexity of the project, a job can take anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks to complete.

Step 4: Ordering Materials & Planning Production

With the project confirmed, we order all the necessary materials, a process that typically takes about 7 days. We leave nothing to chance. Every detail is noted, every measurement double-checked, and every component logged on a job sheet. This ensures that our production team knows exactly what’s expected at every step of the way.

Step 5: Manufacturing Begins

Once materials arrive, production begins in our workshop. Our team of skilled carpenters and craftsmen bring the design to life, working with precision, care, and the kind of attention to detail that can only come from people who truly love what they do.

Step 6: Quality Control Assembly

Before anything leaves our workshop, we do a full test assembly. This is a crucial quality control step where we check that every piece fits perfectly, every joint is secure, and every finish meets our standards, and yours.

Once we’re happy, we carefully dismantle, wrap, pack, and load the entire project for delivery.

Step 7: On-Site Installation

Installation day is where everything comes together. Our team arrives on site and reassembles everything with the same care and precision used in the workshop. But it doesn’t stop there.

We coordinate with electricians, plumbers, countertop specialists, and any other service providers needed to complete the job properly. We make sure every practical detail is handled – from cable placements and power points to drawer handles and hinge alignment.

Step 8: Final Touches & Sign-Off

We never walk away until the job is 100% complete. Once every trade has done their part and the space is fully installed and functional, we do a final walk-through to ensure everything is exactly as it should be.

Only then do we consider the project finished.

More Than Just a Production Line

At Aura, this isn’t just a process; it’s a promise. A promise to create something meaningful, practical, and beautiful. A promise to respect your space, your time, and your vision. And a promise to never leave a job until it’s truly done.
